About the Role:

Switchboard is growing and has recently closed a VC fundraising round and we are looking for a high performing, motivated, and passionate final or penultimate year student to join us as a BizOps intern. This is a paid role.

You will be working in a part time capacity assisting the founder with whatever is high priority for the business. This will mean you will have a varied and exciting role, and you will be working closely with the founder in an exciting and high growth business. Your work could include working on refining our sales funnel, managing outreach channels, assisting with customer needs, business operations and strategy, problem solving, marketing and PR, etc… 

It will also be a lot of fun and a great learning opportunity.

You will work directly with the founder, Hugh. He is ex-BCG, Uber, and Ofload, and has worked in a variety of operations, strategy, and finance roles. He is an experienced manager and coach, and will help you learn and grow throughout your time with Switchboard.

About you

A final year or penultimate year student likely in commerce, computer science, or related field, however students from any discipline will be considered. Previous intern experience (ideally at a startup) is preferred, but not mandatory.

We are looking for a high performing student, someone who is driven and a self-starter to work directly alongside the founder of an exciting and high growth early-stage, venture capital backed startup. Most importantly, we want someone with a great attitude, who is excited to work in a new startup.
