Qnectus, a rapidly growing provider of cloud computing and managed IT solutions based in Kennett Square, PA with most clients the North Eastern United States, is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to work daily from our office.
The appropriate candidate will install, configure, and support customers’ local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN). The engineer must be familiar with advanced networking concepts to work with internal networking devices such as DMZ & in-line firewalls, level 2 & 3 switches, wireless access points, and various network topologies.
He/she will be responsible for the design and support of Windows domain systems to include services such as Active Directory, Certificate Authority, Group Policies, and IIS.
He/she is responsible for self-managing ticket entries from customers along with responding to escalated issues from the helpdesk team. Candidate will participate in an on-call, rotating schedule which may require work during weekends and holidays.
The selected candidate must put customers best interest first, be comfortable working alone, be confident under pressure and see issues/projects through to completion.
This is a limited supervision role which requires strong self-management.
