Who are you?

• Trusted Employee: You must possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
• Certifications:  Personnel assigned any ITAF tasks shall maintain appropriate certifications in compliance with DoD 8570.01-M and DoD 8140 as required by the task.

What you’ll do:

• The Contractor shall manage, operate, and maintain information technology (IT) for facilities at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM. Occasionally travel to the Washington D.C. Office may be required. The contractor shall provide services that operate IAW standard Air Force and DoD IT environments.

Functional Description –

• The contractor shall maintain ISs, confidentiality, integrity, and availability which may include recovery strategies, security audits, and other Information Assurance (IA) defensive strategies.
• The contractor shall participate with installing, configuring, and maintaining a Network management/Information Protection suite of hardware and software to protect information resources from internal and external threats.
• The contractor shall inform the Government of all computer security issues and maintain ability to monitor, detect, analyze, summarize, report, control, isolate, recover, and correct vulnerabilities IAW network security policies.
• The contractor shall, based on Government approved Request for Deliverable (RFD) requirements, provide technical inputs and documentation as related to IA requirements
• The contractor shall participate in the monitoring and reporting of IA policies and controls.
• The contractor shall have a dedicated person without elevated privileges due to separation of duties to manage and/or assist the government IA team with the following:
  • • Audit reviews and reporting, including daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports;
    • User account management for both internal networks and KAFB networks,

• Media control and transfer requests; C&A efforts for achieving and maintaining ATOs including, documentation, reporting, technical design and implementation; Software/hardware approval, and; Equipment inventory and destruction.
