Systems Architect is responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's overall IT systems. Designs systems to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Being a Systems Architect defines system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Additionally, Systems Architect establishes, implements, and documents technology integrations or migration strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     • Change Management: Implement and oversee changes to IT systems, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency for business operations.
    • Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement strategies for monitoring system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring scalability.
    • Security and Compliance: Maintain robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and external partners to assess IT needs, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships effectively.
    • Manufacturing Support: Provide specialized IT support tailored to the unique needs of a manufacturing environment, optimizing systems to enhance production efficiency.
    • Application Management: Oversee the management and integration of various business applications, ensuring seamless functionality across systems.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management roles, with a focus on ERP systems and manufacturing environments.
    • Proven experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong understanding of data management, including SQL, Progress, and other relevant tools.
    • Experience in change management, performance monitoring, security/compliance, vendor management, and budgeting within an IT setting.
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and IT teams.
