Jim Clark Chevrolet, Proudly serving Junction City, Kansas since 1981 is looking for an experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager. This position would be directly responsible for used vehicle acquisition, merchandising, and pricing as well as coordinating with service and body shop and overseeing reconditioning to ensure used vehicle are processed quickly and are “retail ready” to dealership standards.
Duties:
· Follow Used vehicle stocking guidelines utilizing V-Auto market days supply
· Purchasing of used vehicles from multiple sources, Auctions, Rentals, Fleets, as well as from individuals.
· Work with Service Department and Body Shop to ensure vehicles become “retail ready” in a timely manner
· Work with General Sales Manager and General Manager on trade in bids, whole disposition, and market based pricing and merchandising of pre-owned vehicles.
· Oversee Reconditioning staff and scheduling for both dealership locations.
· Work with Sales Consultants and retail clients to address warranty concerns or any other work owed.
· Maintain necessary volume of correct types of GM Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles
