Job Description
This position primarily involves the assembly of industrial and municipal control systems. The employee will need to interpret engineering drawings and have a basic understanding of electrical control and ladder logic.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Assembly and wiring of control panels and drive systems from electrical connection and panel layout drawings
- Perform fundamental electrical checkout of control panels and drive system wiring
- Assist QDS Engineering personnel in quality control testing prior to shipment of panels
- Assist QDS Engineering personnel in final acceptance testing of systems
- Coordinating with and assisting QDS Engineering personnel during system installation and startup
- Coordinating with QDS Engineering personnel responsible for hardware and software design
- Assisting Engineering personnel and clients in the field
- Some Knowledge of AutoCad software helpful
