Job#: 2023109 Job Description: EDI Specialist - Hybrid in Thomasville, NC - 6 month CTH - W2 Only
This role will monitor the deployment of an integrated EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solution to ensure that our systems can handle incoming and outgoing transactions. As well as implement EDI applications and support EDI customers and interfaces.- Primary Responsibilities Translate EDI maps from version 1 to version 2 inside EDI software
- Collaborate with internal staff to assess business intelligence needs, expectations and requirements and partner with outside vendors to resolve EDI problems or issues as well as access products and service capabilities
- Test and verify that EDI solutions are performing according to specifications/standards
- Research, analyze, and recommend solutions to potential interface problems
- Provide exceptional customer service to OD EDI accounts including gathering EDI requirements, scheduling testing and follow up, installing new and update setups to production
- Monitor and respond to EDI email mailbox
- Partner with Technology team to troubleshoot issues and align on current and future need
- Serve as the technical contact with EDI customers
Job Qualifications- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology or related field and/or equivalent work experience
- Experience: At least 1 year of EDI coding / translation experience
- 2 years of experience with EDI and Information Technology
- Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with EDI and communication technology and tools
- Experience with Cleo Clarify, IBM iSeries preferred
- Proficient in XML, AS2, FTP, SQL, MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in a technical implementation capacity
