Systems Consultant/Engineering Director oversees the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and installation operations to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers. Develops standard processes and methodologies to prototype and test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality. Being an Systems Consultant/Engineering Director directs the development of program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide the enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions. Ensures the delivery of technical information, documentation, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams to use in proposals, quotes, and statements of work meet sales cycle and project timeline requirements. Additionally, Systems Consultant/Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Systems Consultant/Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Systems Consultant/Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Overview:

    The Director of Intelligence Systems will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and operational excellence for FEDITC across multiple business lines, with a particular focus on serving the Intelligence Community and Cybersecurity sectors. This position requires a dynamic individual with a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen to lead strategic initiatives, oversee operational activities, and foster relationships within key markets.

    Responsibilities:

    Business Development:

    • Lead business development efforts to identify, pursue, and capture new opportunities within the Intelligence Community and Cybersecurity sectors.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand FEDITC's market presence and revenue streams.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and potential clients.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of clients in the Intelligence and Cybersecurity domains.

    Operational Oversight:

    • Provide operational oversight across multiple business lines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational efficiency.
    • Implement best practices and processes to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects and initiatives in accordance with established timelines and budgets.

    Intelligence Systems Management:

    • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of intelligence systems, including software, hardware, and networks.
    • Ensure that intelligence systems meet the highest standards of security, reliability, and performance.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify emerging technologies and trends in intelligence systems and integrate them into FEDITC's offerings.

    Strategic Planning:

    • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and objectives for FEDITC's growth and expansion initiatives.
    • Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Provide input and guidance on resource allocation, investment priorities, and risk management strategies.

    Qualifications


    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of success in business development, with a focus on the Intelligence Community and Cybersecurity sectors.
    • Strong understanding of intelligence methodologies, technologies, and operational processes.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving operational excellence.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and develop actionable plans.
    • Current knowledge of market trends, industry regulations, and emerging technologies in the Intelligence and Cybersecurity domains

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

    Clearance:

    • Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
    • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITCS Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
