Responsible for analyzing, testing, implementing, and monitoring all technical infrastructure directly supporting Financial Aid and related enterprise structures. Coordinates strategic and tactical planning for Financial Aid alliance systems, serves as liaison with other college constituencies, trains departmental users, and is the chief technical expert for financial aid alliance systems.
Hybrid position. Can be remote for the states of OK, FL, and KS, but travel to TCC will be expected 2-3 times a year.
Lead day to day operations of multiple systems and interfaces including but not limited to Banner, Financial Aid Module, Xtender Digital data/document management, scholarship data/award management system: Blackbaud.
Establish, test, and maintain Banner rules using expert level SQL to write queries, algorithms, and reports.
Ensure daily that processes meet all compliance requirements, data is accurate and secure, and that processes and reports are continuously monitored for accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Serve as technical Project Manager for multiple integrated systems.
Serve as Testing Coordinator for the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (OFAS) in collaboration with other members of the unit, the department, campus partners and external entities as required.
Produce training materials, conduct training, and serve as a technical resource for OFAS staff and campus partners.
Extensive experience and expertise managing within Ellucian Banner Financial Aid module at an institution of similar size and type. Demonstrated expertise in writing SQL queries and algorithms within the Banner Financial Aid module. Proficiency in one of the following programming languages (Python, PHP, Java, PL/SQL).
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five to seven years of job-related experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Ability to develop, document, implement and assess systems-based solutions for administrative functions.
Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent time and resource management skills and experience.
Excellent communication skills including but not limited to listening, speaking, writing, teaching, and training as required.
