Responsible for technical support of Clinical and Business systems that includes system implementations, upgrades, monitoring, maintenance and security patching to deliver stable and reliable Clinical and Business systems. Responds to reported system issues, investigates and analyzes system issues. Provides escalation measures for system issues to assist Clinical and Business Systems Analysts and Information Systems division teams.
- Require Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or Information Systems. High school diploma and four (4) years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree.
- Must be able to work nights, weekend, holidays and other shifts as needed.
- Require minimum four (4) years of related work experience system engineer experience supporting clinical and business systems in a large hospital.
- Require participation in the 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
- Prefer experience with commonly used Office applications and tools.
- Prefer extensive technical knowledge of multiple software applications, computer operating systems, database applications, and server hardware, including programming, software set-up and implementation.
- Prefer knowledge of the patient care setting either by profession or experience.
- Prefer demonstrate strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to research and problem solve.
