Systems Engineering Director oversees the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Provides leadership to the team and ensures the requirements of the projects/contracts are met. Being a Systems Engineering Director ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. Evaluates, designs and develops existing reports/documents for the performance of the systems. Additionally, Systems Engineering Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Systems Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Systems Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Application Developer - Display Systems
This position is associated with the design and development of advanced system displays and the applications each display would contain. Various roles are available that require use of C, C , QT/QML, and virtual machines that run Linux based operating systems. The developer will be creating robust operating system driven software for advanced displays in conjunction with the display systems team and product testing team.
Job responsibilities include:
- Develop software applications and framework for Linux driven OS
- Meet with various team members/stakeholders
- Peer problem-solve
- Test code and hardware
- Work in an Agile environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
