Systems Engineering Technician assists systems engineers in the development of the systems infrastructure. Completes support tasks related to the design and implementation of hardware and/or software for the systems. Being a Systems Engineering Technician tracks and reports on systems performance. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Systems Engineering Technician typically reports to a manager. The Systems Engineering Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. NOVA Engineering is seeking Senior Engineering Technicians for our Raleigh, NC office and Eastern NC areas. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
This inspector will help ensure public safety by traveling to construction sites to inspect the contractor’s work and perform basic field soil and concrete tests under the direction of other NOVA technicians or engineering professionals to verify the work is performed in accordance with project specifications. With minimal paperwork involved, all inspections/observations and test data is input on smart phones/tablets in the field for immediate transmittal to our Project Managers for review.
