Systems Engineering UNIX/NT Director directs the UNIX/NT systems engineering function. May also be responsible for OS/390 function and staff. Being a Systems Engineering UNIX/NT Director develops and oversees policies and practices for UNIX/NT systems engineering. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Systems Engineering UNIX/NT Director typically reports to a top management. Bachelor’s degree required, degree in networking technology or information technology management preferred. Five (5) years of experience managing an enterprise networking environment required. Experience with enterprise operating systems and hypervisors in an enterprise, multilocation environment required. Experience working with higher education computer services departments and project management certifications preferred.
