This position will support lead engineers in the execution of systems performance analyses of existing programs following established policies and procedures.
The Intern will also be engaged with team efforts on continuous improvement of our analytical tools and methods to increase quality and/or reduce cost while transitioning to a Model-Based Systems Engineering environment.
Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (or similar major) and returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
3.4 GPA or above
Completed Sophomore year of study
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Programming skills (languages such as Fortran, C, Python and/or MATLAB)
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering
Leadership & teamwork skills
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
