Job Title: Health Information Management Systems Support Staff
Location: Administrative Services Building, Alamosa
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Unit: Hourly

Job Summary:

Provide centralized, proactive records management support to clinical staff, as well as patients needing services provided by the department. Foster a culture of patient and family centered care, service, quality and safety excellence, while improving patient experience, employee experience and community relations.   Must foster a culture of patient and family centered care, service, quality and safety excellence, while improving patient experience, employee experience and community relations.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA

• Two years previous experience working in health/dental setting. Previous experience with electronic health record preferred.

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requirements and Conditions:

• Drug screen is required
• Background check is required

Pay Range: Hourly – Min: $15.00 – Max: $18.32 (based on qualifications and experience)
