POSITION OVERVIEW:
A Table Games Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the table games pit area. The supervisor ensures smooth gameplay, enforces casino rules and regulations, and coaches a team of dealers to provide an exceptional gaming experience for players.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

Coach and mentor a team of table games dealers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

Manage breaks and ensure adequate coverage during peak gaming hours

Monitor table games to ensure fair play, adherence to rules, and compliance with casino policies

Observe and ensure accurate taking and paying of bets in accordance with established company policies and procedures
-
Maintain control and security of card, dice, and gaming equipment
-
Resolve disputes and conflicts among players and dealers while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor
-
Interact with players to enhance their experience, address concerns, and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction
-
Contact the Surveillance Department, when gaming action meets defined criteria as described in company policies, for assistance in settling monetary disputes, when certain jackpots are activated, and any problem areas or irregularities are suspected

Assist in offering and creating Loyalty Cards for our guests

Accurately count game float inventories at the beginning and close of the table, (and periodically throughout the shift) advising management of impactful win/loss results for the shift as they occur

Verify guest ratings once closed in the rating system and cross reference with the table float; Alert management of any irregularities

Issue credit based on up-to-date information from casino systems and/or the Credit Department; Verify all relevant guest information is obtained

Verify all Rim action, check for accuracy on all rim card entries, keep management informed on Rim balances

Monitor the AML program for CTR compliance, proactively enter required guest information
-
Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the table games area

Implement and enforce security measures to prevent cheating, fraud, and any violations of gaming regulations

Observe dealer performance and game flow to identify any issues and make necessary adjustments
-
Coordinate with the casino's management to make decisions regarding table openings and closures
-
Recognize and respond to Minors in the casino, signs of problem gambling or alcohol intoxication, and suspicious transactions

Ensure dealers are up to date on new game rules and procedures
-
Communicate relevant information to higher management for analysis and decision-making

Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, setting the standard for the dealer team

Handle escalated customer issues in a professional and diplomatic manner
-
Stay informed about changes in gaming regulations and ensure the casino's compliance with all legal requirements

Train and educate dealers on regulatory updates and changes
-
Be prepared to respond to emergencies, accidents, or unusual incidents, following established protocols
-
Foster positive relationships with dealers, other supervisors, and casino management to promote teamwork and collaboration

Ensure that Table Game Dealers comply with the rules, regulations, and directives of the Nevada Gaming Control Board and established Fontainebleau internal controls and procedures

Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Two (2) years of experience in dealing multiple games at another major casino preferred

Previous dual rate/ full time supervisory experience preferable

Proficient knowledge of at least three (3) core games such as Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps or Roulette preferred

Strong math skills for calculating bets, payouts, and managing chips accurately
-
Working knowledge of Title 31 compliance

Interpersonal skills with focused attention on guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts

Attention to detail with managing bets, payouts, and game procedures to prevent errors Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Fontainebleau appearance standards

Commitment to upholding the highest standards of fairness and honesty in gaming
-
Maintain consistent adherence to Fontainebleau guest service standards

Working knowledge of all NGCB rules, regulations, and Internal Controls

Ability to clearly present information through the spoken or written word; speak with customers or employees, listen effectively

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities, but does coach and mentor dealers.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
