Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support the agency recruitment and onboarding functions.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator works under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager and the authority of the Vice President for Human Resources and President and Executive Director.
Essential Functions :
Collaborating with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and priorities.Scheduling interviews;
oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.Corresponding with candidates to answer any question in a timely manner for any updates on the status of their application.
Managing the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensuring the accuracy of candidate data.Serving as the main contact for the onboarding process for new hires, including distribute recruitment-related documents, such as clearances, drug tests, physicals, and other new hire paperwork.Minimum Qualifications :
Associate degree in Human Resources or other related degree and / or at least three years of proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator / HR Administrative assistant or a combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.Experience using professional social networks (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite of products.Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.The employee frequently is required to stand;
walk; use hands to finger, and reach with hands and arms and sit for prolonged periods at a desk, working on a computer.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 lbs.Ability to navigate stairs on occasion - not all locations are ADA-compliant.
The position requires travel up to 15% of the time to different offices and recruitment-related events.
