Summary: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for executing the organization’s recruitment strategy to ensure adequate staffing levels for clinical, professional and non-professional positions across all offices and all departments, while adhering to SWCHC’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In addition, as a critical member of the Human Resources team, this position will also provide high-level HR service to all levels of management, staff, and outside parties, performing a full range of non-routine and complex clerical and administrative duties. This position will report directly to the Talent & Employee Relations Manager, with a dotted line to the Chief People Officer.

- Recruiting/Talent Acquisition
- Collaborates with internal team and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills.
- Executes the recruitment strategy, as defined by the Talent & Employee Relations (ER) Manager; recommends improvements as trends arise.
Monitors and maintains all job descriptions and job postings; executes all required job postings in a timely manner.
- Uses job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open positions.
- Maintains contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants.
- Researches and compiles on-campus and off-site recruitment programs, including job fairs, trade shows, and media presence. Some travel to these events will be required.
- Initiates and maintains contact with qualified candidates for specific job openings throughout recruitment and hiring process.
- Reviews and coordinates candidate applications, conducts phone screenings as needed and refers candidates to hiring managers.
- Contributes anecdotal evidence to Talent and& ER Manager for reports to monitor applicant flow, selection, and turnover for compliance with legal regulations and with organization goals and policies.
- Leads employee on-boarding and orientation, including all logistics.
- Prioritizes and delivers SWCHC’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion initiatives in Talent Acquisition.
- General Human Resources
- Supports credentialing and privileging documentation process.
- Meets deadlines consistently in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments occurring simultaneously.
- Communicates with the senior management team on an on-going basis, providing information and data as requested.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Able to work extended workdays to support staff, as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate degree OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures, especially regarding the application process.
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Paycor.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt well in a high-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Preferred but not required:
- Experience in healthcare and/or second-language fluency
