Job Description:
As part of the Human Resources team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting the company’s hiring and recruiting processes.
Project Management (40%):

Serve as a liaison to hiring managers, job applicants and new hires.

Assist hiring managers with constructing job openings, build candidate profiles, write job advertisements, post jobs and coordinate social media initiatives with the marketing team to promote Ross & Yerger’s career opportunities.

Manage job postings on third-party job boards and Ross & Yerger’s website.

Communicate status updates to hiring managers on applications and engagement rates; provide insight into market conditions and how to position Ross & Yerger to attract top talent.
Candidate Management (40%):

Screen resumes/applications, conduct phone interviews and provide feedback to hiring managers.

Actively source candidates for open positions with an emphasis on administrative, technical and non-sales roles.

Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other research/lead generation tools to build prospective candidate lists and message centers of influence to create referral opportunities.

Source and screen candidates for Ross & Yerger’s Internship Program.

Use JazzHR recruiting management software to build a candidate database; ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping of candidate files and workflows pertaining to the screening & interview process.
Talent Management & HR Support (20%):

Assist with recruiting events such as college career fairs, both virtual and in-person.

Assist hiring managers with constructing and extending offers, candidate due diligence and new hire onboarding.

Promote a positive candidate experience throughout the interviewing and hiring process.

Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
Skills and Experience
At least two (2) years of career experience in a professional setting related to the insurance industry, Human Resources or staffing/recruiting.
