In this role, you will provide full life-cycle recruitment support for various contracts and positions. This position is high-volume and in a fast-paced environment. Recruiters must be resilient and willing to change gears quickly if needed by the client. Job responsibilities include the following:
- Complete a thorough pre-screening process of all assigned candidates. This includes a high volume of incoming applicants, phone calls, and other means of communication.
- Administer criteria testing and conduct interviews using behavioral questions, over the phone or in person
- Responsible for tracking pertinent information using spreadsheets and other means
- Provide guidance to employees with general H.R questions and complaints (via phone and in person)
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all candidates, employees, and teammates
- Guide candidates through the hiring and onboarding process through various forms of communications contributing to a positive candidate experience
- Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates
- Network within the community to build relationships with key partners
- Adhere to all rules and regulations ensuring a fair and equitable recruitment process
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or two or more years of professional work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Highly collaborative, competitive, and goal-oriented
- Ability to work across large, complex organization to achieve results
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including pre-screening and interviewing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to learn new systems including HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Team player and flexible and adaptable to rapid change
- Knowledge of and ability to apply federal, state, and local legislation concerning employment matters
- Willing to work afterhours and weekends when needed to meet client needs
- Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment testing, drug screening, and background investigation
- The pay for this position is $16.20 per hour.
- Preferred location is near London, KY to assist with onsite or local events. Will consider alternate locations for the right candidate.
- Hours: Monday- Friday with shifts between 8AM to 7PM. May be required to work after business hours and weekends to meet client needs.
- This position is temporary, and we will reevaluate business needs in 90 days.
