Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Amalgamated Sugar Company is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support all areas of our corporate and factory recruiting processes and essential functions. The successful candidate will be a demonstrated leader that thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working individually as well as on a team. Must exhibit professionalism in a work environment and an ability to manage confidential information. A basic understanding of human resource policies and procedures is a vital component of this position. This role will report to the Corporate Talent Acquisition Manager.
Amalgamated Sugar Company is a grower-owned sugarbeet cooperative supporting shareholders that farm 180,000 acres of sugarbeets in Southern Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and Southeastern Washington. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates throughout the full recruiting lifecycle.
- Assist with execution of offer and pre-hire paperwork to ensure all new hire requirements are delivered to candidates and completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and assist with CRM management.
- Assist with arranging candidate interviews and ensure confirmations and instructions are sent to all parties.
- Assist with process improvement and efficiency initiatives by sharing ideas and taking ownership of improvement projects.
- Prepare invoices for AP, manage vendor relationships, and ensure proper tracking.
- Attend recruiting events as a representative of Amalgamated Sugar Company.
- Share responsibility for improving the overall Talent Acquisition function by increasing knowledge, taking on new responsibilities, and suggesting new and improved methodology.
- When the ideal candidate demonstrates a strong proficiency for the administrative Talent Acquisition duties, the individual shall perform the following duties on an ad hoc and incremental basis:
- Review candidates who have applied via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Evaluate qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities of potential candidates against position requirements and job descriptions.
- Uses various recruiting/sourcing tools and networking techniques to effectively identify, recruit and follow-up with potential candidates.
- Work with managers to determine staffing needs and advertising methods to ensure the best applicant pool.
- Analyze market data and compensation guidelines to support recommendations regarding appropriate compensation for any given open position.
- Conduct interviews of qualified candidates.
- Builds and maintains relationships with contacts to gain knowledge and generate referrals.
- Ensures all records and documents are collected and appropriately stored at the end of the recruitment cycle for each job opening.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of corporate recruiting and or general Human Resource functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field is strongly preferred.
- Able to consistently report to the corporate office M-F.
- Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, customer service, and facilitation skills.
- Presents in a professional and polished manner.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Approachable, adaptable, self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, and able to positively contribute within a team environment.
- Experience in JDE, UKG and/or with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Exposure to LinkedIn Recruiter is strongly preferred.
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
