As our Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and hiring top talent for our firm, and will be responsible for leading the entire recruitment process, from identification of staffing needs through attracting, evaluating, and hiring for all operational and professional positions. The successful candidate will develop hiring and on-boarding strategies, lead employment branding initiatives and partner with business leaders to ensure we have the talent we need to continue to grow our business.
Note: This is a full-time, on-site position at our corporate office: 11 E 44th St, 6th Fl, New York, NY 10017.
Responsibilities:
This role is a “full cycle” role, including documentation of job requirements, establishing the selection process and coaching the evaluation team, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates. and successfully closing on selected candidates
- Develop, maintain and communicate the hiring priorities for the organization, and partner with finance to ensure that we remain within budget;
- Work with hiring managers to refine the process for drafting and approving job descriptions and postings, and the candidate selection process;
- Strategically develop and oversee the candidate experience including application and initial review process, interviews, evaluations, communication, offers, and onboarding, compliance with internal procedures and relevant laws and regulations; monitoring and evaluating candidate feedback; and incorporating continuous improvement to ensure a positive candidate experience;
- Maintain and refine recruiting processes and create new procedures as required;
- Evaluate and suggest the best recruitment and applicant tracking software and maintain the integrity of the data in the database;
- Establish and monitor the employer's brand in the talent marketplace;
- Utilize various techniques, tools and sources to generate high quality candidates for open roles;
- Advise leaders and managers on proper interviewing processes and methods to ensure that great candidates have a great candidate experience;
- Supervise and maintain integrity and compliance in the offer process;
- Oversee the on-boarding process for new employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of lateral talent acquisition experience in a fast-growing environment;
- Prior experience managing a talent acquisition team or other professional staff preferred;
- Demonstrated understanding of recruiting tools, techniques and operational processes;
- Experience selecting, installing, maintaining and reporting from applicant tracking systems;
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with candidates and managers;
- Self-motivation and a passion for sourcing great talent.
