    We are hiring a Recruiter who will be able to identify and attract a qualified talent pool to fill staffing needs of the district on a local and national scale. This role requires a strategic and proactive approach to recruitment, leveraging a variety of sourcing methods and building strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. The recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the district. This position leads a healthy workforce culture focused on creating an environment where each student achieves his/her highest personal potential.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field
    • Four (4) years of national recruitment experience
    • Valid Florida driver's license
    • Prior sourcing experience utilizing platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn
    • Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Myers, FL and attend out of town and outside of business hours events


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • SHRM-CP or SCP


    Your Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand current and future staffing needs.
    • Utilize a variety of job posting and sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, job fairs, conferences, and direct sourcing, to attract diverse and high-quality candidates.
    • Maintain all external job boards with an accurate representation of current vacancies
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, salary benchmarks and competitor practices.
    • Identify and present additional recruiting resources
    • Review resumes and assess candidates against job requirements.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, department heads, Principals, and other stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure alignment of staffing needs in the field.
    • Promote District incentives to attract external talent (Example: relocation, critical need roles…)
    • Develop creative methods to target and attract candidates outside of the education industry (career changers)
    • Provide regular follow-up with prior applicants and candidates both from job boards and recruitment events
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Daily communication with candidates across multiple platforms to assist with acquiring required qualifications, matching with current or future opportunities and additional guidance through the application process.
    • Use PeopleSoft to track applicant data and update recruiting metrics
    • Contribute to the development of an attractive employer brand through various channels, highlighting the district’s values and culture.
    • Represent the district at recruitment events, job fairs, industry events and conferences, and networking opportunities.
    • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data driven improvements.
    • Provide regular reports to management on recruitment progress, challenges, and successes.
