Talent Management Manager manages the development, implementation, and administration of programs that evaluate, measure, enhance and improve employee performance. Utilizes assessments to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Manager leads the design of performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Establishes cross-functional synergies that provide training and development resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Manager champions a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Talent Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description

    Senior Manager, Talent and Performance Management

     

    Summary:

     

    This role reports to the VP, Talent Development & Impact and will be responsible for building, aligning, and owning our Talent Management Roadmap with new processes and solutions that will optimize our talent pipeline and internal mobility outcomes. This role will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Talent Management programs. The incumbent will have the opportunity to craft, implement, evaluate, and optimize impactful enterprise-wide solutions that support the achievement of company objectives and further enhance Crum & Forster’s internal and external brand as a “Great Place to Work”.

     

     

    What you will do:

     

    • Develop, align, and implement a talent management roadmap by performing thorough needs assessments, aligning with key stakeholders, and establishing assessments and KPIs to ensure regularevaluation of impact
    • Develop, align, and implement a succession planning and talent review process to promote internal mobility and career growth
    • Drive the evolution of our performance management strategy by implementing enhancements that support the business strategy
    • Serve as main point of contact for the full life cycle of performance management across the enterprise and collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders
    • Design and deliver training that enhances manager capability to execute their role in succession planning, talent reviews, and performance management
    • Design and implement programs to attract, develop, and retain leadership at all levels
    • Utilize data and technology to demonstrate impact and make data-based talent recommendations to senior leaders and HR partners
    • Perform special projects, which may include ad-hoc research and analysis to provide guidance on programs and facilitating ad hoc mid-level & senior-level learning engagements that use a wide variety of learning modalities to create an enriching and optimal learning and networking experience

     

    What YOU will bring to C&F:

     

    • A Bachelor’s Degree is required
    • 7 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development and/or Organization Development, with demonstrated experience in developing and planning talent management programs and strategies
    • Exceptional project and process management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results in a complex business environment
    • Experience in fast-paced and dynamic environments managing technology, metrics, and process change efforts, across various departments to meet goals and deadlines
    • Experience analyzing workforce data and translating into key performance metrics and business insights to influence and inform executive decision-making
    • A customer focused approach
    • Learning agility and flexibility to shift focus based on current priorities
    • Certifications and/or credentials from HR/Talent Development professional associations preferred
    • Experience with Talent Marketplace technology/solutions a plus, but not required
    • Experience with Workday a plus, but not required
    • Experience in the insurance industry a plus, but not required

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $115,000 to a maximum of $148,000. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
