Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     The Talent Acquisition Specialist needs to be driven, innovative and customer centric. This role is onsite full time, at our MTM Transit location and is contingent upon award of contract.

    Location : Indianapolis, IN What you’ll do :

    • Execute the full life cycle recruitment process from job posting through the candidate onboarding stage for hourly onsite employees
    • Be available to meet with all walk-in interviews and answer candidate questions
    • Build relationships and increase outreach efforts within the local community to increase our candidate pipeline
    • Coordinate onsite job fairs, as well as attend events within the local community
    • Communicate with onsite Leadership regarding the status of the recruiting process
    • Conduct weekly touch bases, at the minimum, with onsite leaders to review recruitment needs and possible turnover
    • Conduct reference / background checks, extend formal offers of employment, and confirm start dates date based on New Hire Orientation availability
    • Accurately enter all new hires and promotions into Workday and save all required documentation into personnel files
    • Provide exceptional customer service to candidates throughout the recruitment process
    • Responsible for achievement of targeted KPIs
    • Act as a Brand Ambassador and represent MTM Transit as an Employer of Choice by maintaining an in depth understanding of MTM and MTM Transit business and culture
    • Adhere to all processes and procedures defined as part of the full life cycle recruitment process

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1 years of experience in a recruiting role or in a related role
    • Experience with data entry Skills :
    • Must be a team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and continuously take action
    • Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service
    • Must demonstrate an ongoing positive attitude and demeanor

    • Ability to understand what is most important to the hiring manager, and identify top talent that matches what the hiring manager is looking for to move forward in the process
    • Ability to read the situation and evolve as necessary in the recruiting process
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • Ability to provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers, and that includes having difficult conversations when necessary to keep the recruiting process compliant and effective
    • Intermediate level of proficiency or above with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
