The International Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of the International Recruitment Team. This position will assist the International & Domestic Recruiting Manager with the implementation and coordination of various International Visa Programs.  Our employees represent The Broadmoor brand and are Ambassadors of our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Standards. Learn more about The Broadmoor here.  What you will be doing: Respond to all International placement inquiries (e-mail, phone calls, etc.) Communicate with incoming international students to answer questions, give information, and/or obtain visa progress information or arrival information. Prepare up-to-date recruitment materials including available positions. Assist with maintaining the master international student list for each program. Complete host employer paperwork for each program (12-month, 6-month, Work and Travel, H-2B) In charge of updating internal documents with participant information (Full names, rotations, start date, end date, Broadmoor ID #, etc.) Create and send formal offers to each student; track receipt of offers. Coordinate with International Staffing Manager and visa sponsorship agencies to develop training plans. Communicate training plans to applicable departments. Request and track all sponsorship fees that are advanced by the hotel as well as the repayment of these fees; reconcile fees paid vs. owed. Maintain communication with school representatives, sponsors, and partners regarding inquiries and visa sponsorship problems. Communicate pertinent information regarding current students in a timely manner to schools, partners, and visa sponsors. Keep department managers apprised of students’ arrivals, delays, cancellations, and visa sponsorship problems. Manage the arrivals, stays and departures of 300 /- H-2B employees and 500 /- J-1 students each year. Maintain housing database and apartment inventory for international students and H-2Bs. Ensure database is accurate and updated with student information (Broadmoor ID #’s, photo ID, departure dates, etc.) Coordinate payroll deductions for rent, deposits, and fines with The Broadmoor’s Accounting Department, and Housing Manager. Work with the Human Resources Generalist team and Housing Manager to resolve housing-related employee relations issues. Manage and execute the onboarding and orientation of international students; assist the Employment team with onboarding as needed. Execute timely J1 training accomplishment letters. Work with the Culinary Executive Assistant F&B Admin to update the culinary master list by kitchens. Main hallway board decoration and update for international. Arrange for timely visits to the Social Security office; accompany/drive students to the office and assist with any issues Assist with the scheduling and arranging of site visits from visa sponsors and schools. Prepare and submit travel validation requests to visa sponsors. Collaborate with training team on the facilitation of international courses. In charge of posting and monitoring the J1 stream via internal communication platform, Beekeeper. Create flyers, and promos for events related to international participants. Collect and submit arrival verification notification forms to visa sponsors. Assist with organizing cultural trips, create flyers, post on internal communication platform. Track attendance, and deductions for cultural trips with accounting. Assist International Staffing Manager with H-2B arrivals, onboarding, departures, cash advances. Assist International Staffing Manager with preparing paperwork for the petitioning of H-2B workers. Assist International Staffing Manager with tracking hotel data for filing of H-2B visas. Assist International Staffing Manager with booking flights for arrival and departures for H-2B workers. In charge of reporting the arrival and departure reimbursements for H-2B’s and report to the International Staffing Manager and Accounting. Support day-to-day operations and special projects of the Human Resources Team Some international travel required.
