The minimum base salary for this position is $50,000 and the maximum is $58,000, plus additional annual profit-sharing bonus potential. Salary may vary based on education, knowledge and experience.
Job Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for partnering with senior management and hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving staffing needs of WEST through the development of recruiting and sourcing strategies, market analysis and by measuring the quality and cycle time for execution of the recruiting and selection process.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing the full cycle recruiting process to include recruiting, screening, recommending placement of staff and initiating the onboarding process.
- Provide innovative and creative recruitment solutions, including the utilization of social media sites, networking events and building partnerships.
- Develop and/or update job descriptions, job ad templates and career pathways information.
- Leverage multiple resources to source active and passive candidates.
- Coordinate with hiring manager(s) to establish a recruitment action plan.
- Operate the WEST talent acquisition software program, to include creating, posting, and maintaining job requisitions, screening questions and letter templates.
- Conduct preliminary review and analysis of candidate resumes, initial phone interviews, face-to-face interviews, employment verifications and reference checks.
- Assist with extending verbal and written contingent job offers.
- Assist the onboarding team with assigning training to new hires and collecting information.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with college and university placement offices as a source to post positions and generate qualified applicants.
- Prepare and present HR metrics on all recruitment matters.
- Assist in maintaining employee referral program.
- Ability to understand and effectively apply laws and regulations related to employment practices.
- Identify opportunities and coordinate participation in career fairs where appropriate.
- Complete other HR-related administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma is required, a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of job-related relevant experience.
- Knowledge of current sourcing and recruiting methodologies.
- Good interviewing techniques.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret local, state and federal regulations related to employment practices.
- Ability to analyze trends and statistical data in the job market and recommend / implement recruiting solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability and proficiency in the use of computers, standard office equipment and company standard software including Microsoft Office and ATS systems.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and make independent decisions.
- Ability to provide positive interaction with employees and management.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit and talk in an office setting, often for long periods of time.
- Operate computers, keyboards and other peripheral equipment.
- Bend or stoop as needed for filing.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
