Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Concrete Superintendent to lead our concrete operations and ensure the successful execution of concrete-related projects. As a Concrete Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of concrete construction, from planning and scheduling to execution and quality control. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality concrete work that meets or exceeds client expectations while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Manage concrete projects from inception to completion, including coordinating resources, scheduling tasks, and overseeing project timelines to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of concrete crews, subcontractors, and laborers, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all concrete work meets or exceeds industry standards, specifications, and client expectations. Conduct inspections and address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, protocols, and procedures. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
• Material Management: Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and storage of concrete materials and supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels and efficient utilization to support project requirements.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders regarding concrete-related matters, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues to maintain positive relationships and client satisfaction.
• Cost Management: Monitor project costs, labor expenses, and material usage to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or safety.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, change orders, and as-built drawings. Generate reports and documentation as required by project specifications and company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry, with a focus on concrete construction.
• Thorough knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment, as well as industry standards and best practices.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
