Tax Attorney jobs in Greensboro, NC

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes all work papers to ensure accuracy and analyzes all accounting and tax information and ensures compliance with all regulations.
• Evaluates all work papers and prepares draft of all returns within timeframe and recommend improvements for same and prepare tax schedules for all income tax details.
• Administers and ensures compliance of all monthly activities
• Responds to all queries associate with tax submissions and ensures compliance of all extensions and payments.
• Provides support to all non- income taxes issues and performs research on various tax issues and prepares all comprehensive memos and maintains record of all transactions for business issues.
• Assists with external audits and notices through research and support documentation.
• Prepares detailed work-papers supporting the VAT and International Tax Filings.
• Works with 3rd party transaction tax compliance and local Country managers to ensure timely and accurate processing of transaction tax filings.
• Reconciles Commission Tax Withholdings against reports for 1099 and CP-58.
• Prepares tax related journal entries.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as needed or requested.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 6 months to 2 years in CORPORATE income tax compliance (includes internships)
• Knowledge of sales tax compliance and reporting for multiple jurisdictions
• Familiar with researching tax law for federal/state/Individual/Corp etc.
• Proficient use of MS office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook required

Salary Range:

• $55,000 to $65,000 annually
• On-Site in Greensboro, NC
