The Tax Attorney work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Tax Attorney typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     The Attorney General, who is appointed by the Governor, heads the department. The Attorney General serves as legal advisor to the Governor and all state Agencies, prosecutes violations of state criminal laws, represents the state and its officers in civil matters, and enforces consumer protection and unfair trade practices laws.
