Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will provide support to our management team and perform various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations
- Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical
- Handle incoming calls and emails, responding or redirecting inquiries as necessary
- Assist with financial tasks such as processing invoices, managing expense reports, and reconciling accounts
- Perform basic accounting duties including journal entries, payroll processing, and tax preparation
- Utilize software programs such as Quicken, QuickBooks, and GAAP to assist with financial management
- Conduct research and compile data for various projects or reports
- Coordinate and organize company events or meetings
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
