The Tax Director will plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients and staff; market, design, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients and manage to budget. Directors conduct secondary review of, and have ultimate responsibility for, complex tax returns including federal and state filings.

Some responsibilities and requirements:

• Help shape our growing tax department.
• CPA and Master’s in Tax required
• At least 6-8 years relevant work experience with an accounting firm, including at least 5 years of tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of multi state complex tax issues
• Proven leadership and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; and
• Proficient use of technology including MS Excel; Lacerte knowledge preferred
