Tax Manager jobs in Pine Bluff, AR
Tax Manager is responsible for managing the tax accounting staff and the tax planning, reporting, and compliance functions. Oversees the preparation of all tax filings and reporting in compliance with all required regulations. Being a Tax Manager evaluates the tax implications of company activities and develops strategies to minimize the tax obligations. Advises management on future changes to tax regulations and possible impact to the organization. Additionally, Tax Manager may manage and direct relationships with vendors and advisors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Tax Director or Top Tax Executive. The Tax Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Tax Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. • Build your own schedule with flexible hours anytime between 8am EST and 10pm EST Monday to Sunday³
• You'll be assigned an SME (Subject Matter Expert) who will support you during live calls. Plus Support an (MPS) Marketplace Performance Specialist as your advocate.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
To be successful in this Gig as a Service Provider for TurboTax you will need to be proficient in the following:
• This role doesn't require any specific accounting background. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and help TurboTax customers with their questions.
• Strong communication is key in assisting customers with TurboTax products and tax return software. You'll need to articulate solutions clearly and empathetically.
• The ability to understand and empathize with our customers needs while driving innovation and providing top-notch service.
¹To receive the $300.00 paid training bonus, if the following criteria are met: Must complete all 5 days of training, graduate, and complete 10 calls.
²Starting Pay $18.00 gross per hour. You must work a minimum of 20 hours per week or 40 hours per cycle from Monday to Sunday, between 8AM and 10PM EST. Fees apply ($2.00 per hour Marketplace Licensing Fee and $1.00 LiveXchange Service Fee)..
