Tax Manager is responsible for managing the tax accounting staff and the tax planning, reporting, and compliance functions. Oversees the preparation of all tax filings and reporting in compliance with all required regulations. Being a Tax Manager evaluates the tax implications of company activities and develops strategies to minimize the tax obligations. Advises management on future changes to tax regulations and possible impact to the organization. Additionally, Tax Manager may manage and direct relationships with vendors and advisors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Tax Director or Top Tax Executive. The Tax Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Tax Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Our International Tax Services Generalist - Practice Support team advises PwC Client Services team advises clients on tax laws and reporting, legislation and planning strategies based on the geography and jurisdiction. You’ll be assisting our team with local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing and indirect tax and other international taxation needs.

    A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting

    CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

    • Demonstrating considerable knowledge of quantitative analyses including earning and profit studies, subpart F, GILTI, FDII and foreign tax credit computations, foreign tax reporting and international taxation compliance regulations, and the practices of public accounting firms, law firms or multinational company corporate tax departments;
    • Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;
    • Communicating value propositions;
    • Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections, and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;
    • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust;
    • Seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and,
    • Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback. Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as tax technical business advisor, including:
