We are looking for a responsible Case Administrator to handle communications and manage cases for tax preparation and/or resolution. Your job will be to provide support to clients and work to collect information necessary for our team of professionals. The Case Manager should be highly organized and able to multitask with ease. Main tasks include managing requests for clients, making phone calls to keep ongoing engagement, manage emails to ensure client concerns are being addressed in a timely manner, and handling any outgoing mail specific to your case load. Our ideal candidate has experience as an Office Administrator, Secretary or relevant administrative role, basic tax return understanding. You should be familiar with IRS 1040 forms, office software (e.g. MS Office), including word processors, spreadsheets, and Adobe. Responsibilities include:

• Organize, store and print company documents as needed
• Answer phone calls
• Calling clients to request documents required to properly administer a client’s case
• Respond to inquiries from existing clients, receive inbound calls for status updates and execute outbound calls to provide status updates
• Conduct financial analysis of taxpayer’s income, expenses and assets
• Manage and prioritize cases depending on complexity
• Act as the liaison between client and their assigned EA/Attorney or Tax Preparer.
• Interact with clients, Tax Professionals and other departments.
• Use time management skills to prioritize daily workload.
• Always provide an exceptional customer service experience in every customer facing interaction.

Skills

• Proven experience as an Administrator, Administrative Assistant or relevant role
• Familiarity with office equipment, including printers
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
• High school diploma; additional qualifications as an Office Administrator or Secretary are a plus
• Knowledge and application of English grammar including composition, editing and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with IRS tax forms (specifically 1040)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.52 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
