Legal Research Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Research Intern to join our team. In this role you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal research, document review, and legal drafting. This internship will provide valuable insight into the legal profession and offer opportunities for professional growth.

Overview of duties but not limited to:

• Conduct legal research, gather evidence, conduct in-depth research on employment wages and hour, collecting and analyzing data, and summarizing the results.
• Assist in collecting and organizing data from various sources, including databases, file shares, and external data sets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

-Ensure confidential information is handled with honesty and integrity.

-Strong research skills, including proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.

-Proficient with Microsoft Excel

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and analyze complex legal issues

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient in legal drafting, including the ability to write clear and concise legal documents

- Familiarity with general counsel practices is preferred

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
