As a Marketing Specialist for USA Financial & Tax Services your job will be multi-faceted. You will be in charge of planning our seasonal event calendars and executing all of the necessary steps to ensure our events are successful. You will instill these virtues in your work and interactions with our vendors, guests and clients.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating our event calendar utilizing both our existing database of venues and scouting new locations.
- Facilitating Facebook advertising campaigns from start to finish.
- Designing and creating Facebook ads for campaigns and refine ad quality.
- Compiling/creating/sourcing of marketing materials for a variety of uses.
- Managing systems for confirmations, handle follow up, ensure accuracy of information on our databases.
- Communicating directly with venues and handle tasks such as scheduling and troubleshooting.
- Sharing in collaborative office duties with other admin team members.
- This is a full-time position.
- Hours for this position will typically be Monday-Friday 9am-5pm; with fluctuation during event season.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong graphic design skills along with attention to detail and an organizational focused attitude. The ideal candidate for this position has worked on projects either in school or on the job and understands the concepts of demanding time constraints and deadlines. The ideal candidate speaks fluent English. We prefer a candidate who has 1-2 years of marketing experience, whether that’s from the classroom or on-site job knowledge. We are a team, we aren’t seeking lone wolves. We want someone who will integrate well into the team and is a good fit.
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions, and know when to apply creative thinking
- Comfortable and skilled with a variety of Microsoft programs, high level computer skills a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at both oral and written communication; must be comfortable on phones
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and is motivated to learn and participate
- Strong social skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities
- Able to operate under time constraints and produce quality work
- Experience in an office setting is a plus
- Understanding of Connecticut geography a plus
