Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

• Responsible for performing critical tax functions under the general supervision of the Tax Manager
• Monitor client support software (Zendesk) and respond to inquiries within 48 hours
• Setup new clients in tax software and import payroll history; perform balancing procedures to ensure data is accurate, by verifying all tax accounts are setup correctly
• Prepare Federal and State amended tax returns and assist with the process for multi-state payroll tax filings and reconciliations
• Makes daily tax payments to various tax agencies

Here's what we're looking for:

• Must have an accounting, finance, business or tax degree
  
• Strong organization and follow up skills providing analytical support in payroll tax
• Highly effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and concepts
• Payroll tax experience
• CPA candidate eligible
