Teacher High School prepares lesson plans and instructs students in an assigned secondary school. Develops and implements grade appropriate course work, activities, and assessments to meet the academic needs of children in a grade 6-12 classroom setting. Being a Teacher High School evaluates and monitors student's performance. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Teacher High School participates in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for specific students. Resolves classroom issues and conflicts. May participate in implementing special programs for students. May supervise teaching assistants. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require state-specific teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher High School occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Description: Applicants will be full-time teachers able to instruct high school students in multiple subject areas and follow
written curriculum lesson plans. This individual must be faithful to the teachings of the magisterium of the Catholic Church
in all aspects of his or her personal and professional life and will be a role model for high school students. Applicants must

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position requires the ability to perform occasional
light lifting and carrying; standing and walking; and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Occasional hand use and finger
dexterity needed to use computer keyboard and operate standard office equipment; occasional pushing, pulling, grasping,
and reaching may also be required. Good hearing is required when communicating on the telephone or in person.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment described herein is representative of those an employee encounters while
performing the essential function of this job. Primarily office environment with controlled temperature conditions and
exposure to environmental factors and hazardous physical substances are minimal and pose little to no risk of injury.
Occasional driving to meetings and/or events may be required.
