Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Provide individualized attention and support to students to ensure their academic success
- Foster social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and effective classroom management strategies
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and administrators to create a comprehensive educational experience for students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians on a regular basis
- Utilize early intervention strategies to address any learning or behavioral challenges
- Stay up-to-date with the latest educational research and best practices in early childhood education
- Participate in education administration tasks such as attending staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences

Skills:
- Strong literacy education background with the ability to teach foundational reading and writing skills
- Experience in curriculum development, including creating engaging activities that align with educational standards
- Excellent mentoring skills to support students' social-emotional development and overall well-being
- Proficient in lesson planning, ensuring lessons are engaging, interactive, and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom, establish routines, and maintain a positive learning environment
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, including health and safety regulations
