Dublin Christian Academy is seeking a nurturing individual who loves teaching and desires to see children learn and succeed. The teacher’s desire should be to help reach the heart of the students in addition to teaching academic knowledge.

• Candidate must be imaginative, creative, energetic, and demonstrate genuine Christian character.
• Candidate must be a committed Christian with a strong connection to a doctrinally conservative, evangelical, protestant church.
• Required: Bachelors degree in education or related field
• Is able to teach all subjects in a multi-age classroom (grades 5 & 6).
• An ideal candidate must be able to obtain AACS certification in elementary education.
• Needs to be a team player and be willing to assist co-workers when needed.
• Must be able to follow the established curriculum and a daily schedule while being flexible enough to meet the individual needs of each student.
• Curriculum: Currently using BJU Press textbooks plus Zaner-Bloser handwriting
• Must be organized and be able to prioritize and adapt to variable circumstances.
• Communicate with parents through meetings, phone calls, and the weekly progress folders

Includes using the following technology:

• Use G Suite for Education tools
• Utilize Sycamore School to record grades for students
• Use Planbook.com to create and submit weekly lesson plans
