Teacher Vocational Education is responsible for teaching vocational courses focusing on developing job-specific or industry-specific knowledge and skills. Develops and implements appropriate course work, activities, and assessments. Being a Teacher Vocational Education evaluates and monitors student's performance, and helps students identify and pursue personal goals. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Teacher Vocational Education typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a state-specific vocational teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher Vocational Education occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. What you will be doing:
As a Certified Teacher with AMIkids, you provide professional instruction and teaching to a diverse population of Youth, including hands-on learning experiences, project-based learning activities, and cooperative learning opportunities in a low-student-teacher ratio setting.
You must have:
We prefer that you have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and certification in the area in which you will teach, but we also welcome applicants who have degrees in other fields and are seeking agreements to earn in their field of study. We prefer Team Members have experience working with at-risk youth (this is not a deal-breaker), but we can also provide training to allow the right candidate to be successful in working with our Youth and helping us to : “Separate a Troubled Past from a Bright Future”.
