Teaching Assistant (College) teaches and participates in empirical (qualitative/quantitative) research within a specialized discipline/interdisciplinary field. Is enrolled in a graduate program. The ideal candidate for this position must enjoy working with children as well as parents, is a dedicated professional who understands how children learn, and has the ability to create a nurturing learning environment. You should have strong interpersonal skills, as you will be collaborating with other teachers, working with students and talking to families. Candidate must be willing to adhere to all ODJFS and State guidelines. If you have experience in an early childhood center and are interested in joining our growing team, we encourage you to apply. We have the following hours available Full-time 40 hours, Monday - Friday, 9-6, 8-5, 7-4. Experience desired but not required. A CDA is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
o High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
o CPR Certification (Preferred)
o Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
o Must be able to pass a BCI/FBI Background Check
