The Technical Assistant provides technical assistance and support to the Imaging Services staff as needed, including but not limited to, transporting patients of all age levels, critical and physical limitations to and from various locations throughout the hospital and cleaning/stocking department. This individual assists technologists with portable exams, care for the patients, moving patients to and from examination tables, and assists in the performance of examinations in Imaging Services. This individual also has the duties of the clerk/typist such as RIS system entries, retrieving past visits and x-ray reports. This individual plays a critical role by accurately and efficiently maintaining all of Imaging Services patient records.
