Technical Communicator manages dealer and manufacturer technical problems in an expedient and cost effective manner for the customer. Provides employees with technical information beyond their ability to readily locate. Being a Technical Communicator serves as a liaison between the manufacturer and employee on technical problems encountered by the dealership. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Technical Communicator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Communicator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Objective
This role will take on the responsibility for the maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for transportation clients throughout the country. We are looking for individuals that will ensure operation and quality of our clients’ equipment.

· Hands on systems & equipment maintenance preferred, but not required
· No minimum experience required, but a general technical interest in the transportation industry is strongly preferred
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to manufacturing and warehouse-type settings, including moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of environmental conditions at the job site, including working outdoors at times. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, read, write, and hear English. This position is very active and requires standing for hours, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The employee must be able to lift and move items of 50 pounds.
