Technical Communicator manages dealer and manufacturer technical problems in an expedient and cost effective manner for the customer. Provides employees with technical information beyond their ability to readily locate. Being a Technical Communicator serves as a liaison between the manufacturer and employee on technical problems encountered by the dealership. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Technical Communicator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Communicator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Summary:
A construction company in the petroleum industry is looking to hire a Foreman based out of Jacksonville, FL. This position will be responsible for overseeing commercial gas station projects. Duties include leading a construction crew, operating heavy equipment, installing sheet piling, underground tanks, fuel piping and dispensers, shooting grades, site layout and training laborers on all related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in Retail and/or Commercial Gas Station construction.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working on Underground tanks and piping
- 2 years of experience as a Construction Foreman running a crew and working with sub-contractors
- Construction project experience on 1 or more of the following: Gas Stations/Fueling, Underground Piping, Shoring, Dewatering Systems
- Experience working with petroleum pipes and products
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a construction truck and tow small trailers when needed
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to shoot grades
- Ability to read blueprints and build to spec
- Ability to operate heavy construction equipment
