Provides employees with technical information beyond their ability to readily locate. Being a Technical Communicator serves as a liaison between the manufacturer and employee on technical problems encountered by the dealership. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Technical Communicator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Communicator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. What You'll Be Doing: Write descriptive manuals and guides for complex subjects. Researching topics, writing documents and editing work for publication. Develop and implement the appropriate medium for the target audience when writing manuals, online videos and graphics. Edit material prepared by other writers or staff. Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience TS/SCI clearance (with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph) Demonstrated experience writing a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. Demonstrated experience coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document. Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft office software. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: CI Polygraph Experience working at NGA, IC or in the aeronautical field.
