The IT Service Desk Manager ensures team members are trained and coached on effective methods to research, troubleshoot, deliver solutions, and access the current product or technical updates. Manages the staff and operations of an organization's technical help desk. Being an IT Service Desk Manager identifies and gathers key metrics to analyze the help desk performance and identify problem areas. Trains the team on the help desk systems and tools to identify, document, track, and resolve reported problems. In addition, IT Service Desk Manager monitors and measures service metrics and volume to develop standards, improvements, or changes to workflows and resource allocation. Acts as an escalation point and facilitator for severe, critical, or unique issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The IT Service Desk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as an IT Service Desk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     POSITION SUMMARY

    We are seeking a high-performing Technical Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team’s potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
    • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
    • Own objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
    • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Engineering Background
    • Mechanical Aptitude above average
    • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Strong business sense and industry expertise
    • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
    • Travel would be required 30% of the time

    Education

    • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field

    Experience

    • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets (3-5 years experience preferred)

    Pay Range

    • $75,000-$95,000 – Based on experience

    Ability to Relocate

    • Jamestown, NY 14701: Relocate before starting work (Required)
