Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on Frac equipment, including repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.

Job Requirements

• Industrial engine and transmission experience
• Possess advanced tool set

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Must follow safety policies and procedures
• Able to perform advanced hydraulic, engine, transmission and power end repair and troubleshooting
• Requires little to no guidance to complete tasks
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of how to use engine/transmission diagnostic software and its functions
• Knowledge of hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
• Engine troubleshooting and repair experience including injector, cylinder head, overhead adjustments, and bearing replacement
• Transmission troubleshooting and repair experience including sensor and solenoid locations and their theory of operations
• Advanced understanding of equipment software
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics including schematic symbols and their meanings
• Understanding of the operation and theory of the greaser systems and its electronics, ability to troubleshoot and repair
• Can weld and fabricate at a proficient level
• Ability to run all equipment and have a good understanding of their theory. (Blender and Hydration Units)
• To work in a leadership role to assist and train less experienced employee’s
• Ability to do root cause failure analysis.
