Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in accordance with the care plan established by the registered nurse or therapist - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications as directed by the nurse or physician - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times - Document patient observations and report any changes in condition to the nurse or supervisor - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Experience: - Previous experience as a home health aide or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and regulations for home health care - Familiarity with critical care procedures and protocols - Understanding of basic nursing principles and physiology - Ability to manage shifts effectively and prioritize tasks based on patient needs - Proficient in patient monitoring techniques and documentation review - Experience working under the supervision of a nurse or nurse manager - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality - Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
